The Big Leagues

Thursday, November 1st, 2007

It was a disorienting morning. After getting home at about 4, I woke up late for work to find my inbox flooded with an email from Mason. I had totally forgot that there was something I needed to do:

Photo shopped or not?

Happy July of Fourth

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

It was called to my attention that some people aren’t comfortable with how many pictures I take at social events. It did, in fact, get me kicked out of a bar in Milwaukee. I was a photojournalist in high school, and I don’t think I’ve ever really stopped. My only suggestion would be not to do anything you’re ashamed of in public, or learn to be more comfortable with who you are. Life’s to short to live with regrets.

Pictures to come.

Wiiiiiiii

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

Sometimes you have to make the most out of a bad situation. I had to drop my mom off at the airport in Birmingham (on the way home from Huntsville), which means a long, boring drive back to Atlanta. At some point during the last week, I had decided that I was going to get a Wii, but I didn’t want to pay extra. So, I decided to stop off in the horrible little hick-towns along I-20.

The first place I stopped was a super Wal-mart. As I got off the highway, I felt like I was being watched. I saw 4 mullets before I made it to the door, and about 2 teenage mothers once I was inside. And for all my trouble, I got nothing.

Down the road, there was another Wal-mart, and then another Target. Having found nothing so far, I was ready to give-up. There was a Best Buy right next to the Target, so I thought I might as well look to make sure. I turned the corner to the Video Game isle, and there was a box. I picked it up, and it wasn’t empty. Surely, something must be wrong. I took it up to the counter, but nothing happened, other than the exchange of currency.

If nothing else, it’s a good excuse to have that house warming party I never had when I moved into my apartment 9 months ago. Maybe this Saturday, along with some brewing.

But anyway, as I opened the box, I really liked the packaging, so I thought I would share if you were unfamiliar.

Erin and James’ Wedding

Monday, June 18th, 2007

This weekend, 6 of us went to Milwaukee for Erin and James Zachman’s wedding.

It was a beautiful ceremony, and the reception got a little crazy, especially when those crazy ATL kids took over the dance floor.

Congrats you crazy kids. I’m happy for you.

Moustache May reflections

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

I didn’t get as involved as I would have liked with Moustache May due to crazy schedule, but it was fun for a while. I’m about ready to get rid of this thing but I thought I’d leave you with this:

See you next May.

First Quarter Party

Sunday, April 15th, 2007

It was a pretty good party. I’m still not caught up on my sleep though, thanks to the debauchery.
